A sickening, gut-wretching abomination of a game. Star Wars deserves better than this.

It is official: If it is a handheld, and if it is Star Wars,it is crap. Period.

Despite the bad reviews that it got, I thought that Jedi Power Battles for the PS1 was fairly fun. The GBA port, however, is not. If you were annoyed by the sticky combat and painful platforming in the PS1 version, then prepare yourself. Because it's about a million times worse in this game.

In Jedi Power Battles, you run around dreary, linear levels, fighting droid after droid after droid after droid. It is fairly repetitive, as you may have guessed, and wouldn't have been that way if there had been some decent platforming.

Unfortunetly, the platforming isn't decent, and calling it merely bad would be an understatement. The platforming is, quite honestly, a reeking, stinking, vomit-ridden garbage dump that is as shoddy and abysmal as the human mind can possibly comprehend. It will often take you 10 to 12 tries to finally perform a diagnol double-jump, which is required to clear most chasms. And don't even get me started on the non-existent depth perception.

To top it off, this game is incredibly short. Of course, there is no reason why anyone would want to finish this horrific, tedious, agony-inducing wreck of a game anyway.
