Bad History, Bad Levels

User Rating: 5 | Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy PC
Ok, so now you are Kyle Katarn's student. You go to certain planets to learn about being a Jedi but everywhere a problem seems to happen and there are enemies all around and you are alone!. You end the missions and neither Kyle or Luke appear in your rescue, they only say "Sorry I didn't make it, at least you didn't die". Its not credible how jedi don't go and help their students! So thats why I dont like the history. Also, I found myself running around every level just swinging my jedi sword and killing some stormtroopers. You can actually use the force ability Speed and run past them without engaging in battle and finish the level, because you only have to run and reach certain area. At least Jedi Knight Outcast had a nice history that made you want to fight everyone and know what would happen next. Here, things are so easy and there are not even puzzles, so its like you don't feel you want to know the history. And if you do, then you just run and end every level without feeling you are controlling a Jedi. Why do they even add weapons? Your Sword can kill within a slash, I never shot a single bullet in this game...
I am a bit disappointed, even though if you are a Star Wars fan you might like it.

Edit: Most of the disappointment has to be with how the story develops in an unrealistic way and how I was able to finish some levels without fighting. I guess that if you play and try to fight everyone and skip the weird story you could have fun.
Maybe that's why people have given this review a bad score.
