User Rating: 9.5 | Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron (Bundle) PSP
First of all SWBF Renegaded Squadron is nothing compared to the SWBFII for the XBOX, and the PS2. This game is totally different because you can play heroes like in the SWBFII on land battles, but in space you can't. This one you can play as Han Solo & Chewbaca's Millennium Falcon, Boba Fett and Jango Fett's Slave 1, Darth Vader's TIE (Twin Ion Engines) Advance, Obi-wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter. Land battles are the same heroes as always. First things first, if you don't know how to play the game I will give you the basic controls, the analog stick strifes your solder, in space analog does the same thing, the ▲ key enters you in a vehicle, and it also gives you a heads up when you come 1mm to the vehicle, R1 locks your soldier's rifle on the enemy when you are on the land battles, R1 in space battles increases your speed on your craft, L1 sprints your soldier in land battles, in space battles L1 decreases your speed on your craft, the circle button makes your character roll when there is a thermal detonator and you want to avoid that, in space battles circle makes you do a roll to evade a incoming missile, in space battles, if your not very good at sixing other pilots triangle button puts you in auto-pilot so that you can six the enemy craft perfectly without doing the moving of the analog, square button uses the thermal detonator or other explosive you chose as your explosive weapon in space battles fires the ship's secondary weapon, X fires your rifle in land battles and in space battles X fires your lasers, if I'm correct, ◄ key changes to your secondary weapon in land battles, space battles, if your stuck up side down or something like that hit that button or the ► button, and it puts you back up to the original place, ▼ targets the enemy ship in space battles, in land battles your soldier crouches, start button pauses the game, select button pops up the scoreboard, home button makes you go home back to the home menu if you choose so to do, and that pretty much covers the controls. The graphics on the game are amazing because Sony is partnered with ATI and GEO graphics inc. The game makes you feel like you're there because if you have the PSP slim or the limited edition PSP with Darth Vader's helmet on the left side, it's in HD. Overall I give this game a 9.5 because the learning curve takes you 2 hours or more when you don't know it very well. The graphics on the game are a perfect 10 because it's in HD. The gameplay is very intense. The tilt... I don't know what tilt means in that kind of use so I give it a full 9.5.
