a good idea, and it just needs a little tweaking
As for this game, i would say it is pretty good. while there is not alot of "trek" other than ships races, and weapons, trekkies would like this game. it features a whole new cvampaign with people you dont know, and dont care about. as of yet, i have only completed the federation campaign, but there is also a klingon one. you start a sthe weakest ship of your race, and work your way up to the largest. you must complete several missions, and are rewarded with crew upgrade points wich you can use to increase your ships abilities. there is also a skirmish mode, where there is no story, just fighting, but thats all.
graphics are good, but could have been better.
weapons sound small, and you only get one shot with each bank of weapons, then you have to reposition your ship to use others.
over all, you have a game that is good and playable, but is really not for anyone other than die hard trekkers. however, it is the only star trek game for psp, and though it is not perfect, it is still fun to play.
