Create your own ship. You are the Admiral.

I remember thinking this game would be a great game because the concept sounded good at the time. The game is fun only in the since of creating and customizing your ship and its compliment (crew, decks, rooms, ect.). Unfortunately the games appeal stops there. Once you have created your ship, you have the option of sending your ship on missions which you can watch from an overview screen as your ship flies through space. You can either use real time or simulated time (both of which are extremely long to view). You have little control over your ship during missions except issuing orders as to whether to engage the enemy, retreat, fire probes, or return home.
The missions themselves are not incredibly difficult and even under simulated time the fasted mission takes you five minutes and requires you to click fire probe twice. The rest of the time is watching the ship go from one point on the screen back to the port.
All in all the game had a lot of potential if you could have actually explored your own ship through a walkthrough type environment, but they chose another route and that didn't do too well for them. I cannot say I'd recommend this game.
