Not for traditional RPG gamers. If you like gameplay more than story, it might work for you.

Right off the bat, I'll say I was disappointed with this game. It started off pretty good, and it definitely captured my interest. I devoted a substantial amount of time to playing this game, eager to move the story forward. A little more than halfway through, though, the story takes one of the dumbest twists in the history of RPG's. For me, it ruined the game.

Here's what it comes down to: Some people don't really care about story. Some people even skip past the dialogue in these games so that they can get to the next battle. If you are one of those people, you'll enjoy this game. The battle system is innovative, and, honestly, a lot of fun. It's a little on the easy side, but the battles still end up being satisfying.

If you, like me, really need to have a good story to enjoy the game, even if everything else in the game is up to par, you will most likely not enjoy Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. I did finish the game, since I had too much time invested in it to stop, and it does not end well. There are huge plot holes and several loose ends that they don't even try to wrap up.

For those of you who don't plan on playing this, and wish to know what the problem is with the story, I'll be happy to tell you.
