Some of you may have read my other review, of the Nintendo Super Famicom counterpart.

I stated that, it was one of the few games that it would be worth learning Japanese to play.

I still think that, and sadly I would still rather play the SNES one.

ill start with complaints…sorry about this.

Why change the main character's name huh? Ratix was a cool name, but they changed it to roddick. Cyus ( I think that is how it is spelled in the PSP one) is called "Cius" on the snes one. But hey its not the names that bother me somewhat…

The final boss is way to easy. Team of lvl 68's could kill him in about 90 seconds.
On the original version, it was a pain in the arse.

The only names that kind of tick me off are, a lot of the skills names were changed, like dragon's roar should of been called Dragon Howl like from the original game. The SP skills, almost all of them were changed. And then they freaking changed Herbology (correct me if I'm wrong) into symbology? I mean what the fudge. Also ALL the names of the towns have been changed, but they are spelling changed and they still sound the same when you say them aloud.

Ok no more complaining sorry!
good stuff

They made it more like Star Ocean 2, which was my favorite game from the series. Battles/map/towns/characters all styled like they are on the Ps1 sequel. I can now play the game legally without downloading the ROM J which is always good right? Lots of voice acting, and great cinematics.

In all honestly the only reason I gave this game a 9 is because it is a remake of the original game, and other then stupidly changed names, its fine. But like I said I would still rather play the SNES one, before our stupid censors got their dirty little hands on it.
