Serioiusly meh. I must be the only person who hates this game.

I really really don't understand why people actually like this game. It is so incredibly boring and nonsensical. I loved Fallout, Metro 2033, Deus Ex, System Shock, Half Life, etc freaking etc.

I don't care that the game is buggy, I don't care that the plot is terrible, individual things like this don't make or break a game for me.

Yes, I tried both vanilla and the 2009 mod (which does make it look better for sure)

I've heard so many people rave about how amazing this game is. What's the deal? It's boring. It's repetitive. It's so bland I feel like looking at a blank sheet of paper might be a welcome change. I honestly feel as though this game attracts some sort of "anti-hate."

I'm not trolling, please believe me. If there is something I'm missing here, like maybe the button that activates all this cool stuff people keep mentioning, please by all means let me know.

I have tried on multiple occasions to get into this game, but to no avail. I really like other games like this, so either I'm missing something or everyone is just screwing with me.
