Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl is a open world FPS with RPG elements. The atmosphere created in this game is astounding! The game is also one of a kind. Its original and packs a punch. I have never found so many secrets and little things in such a big game. It is almost as if there were hundreds of people adding their own little bit to the world.

Gameplay: the game play is solid. it has been updated a few times but not much. The guns have a reasonable amount of recoil depending on what gun it is. Ammo has weight so you have to play wise on wither you want lots of ammo and fire power or just enough firepower to pick up loot (and believe me there is loot!). The NPCs in Stalker are a challenge but at times they fall a little flat with aiming at walls and walking into anomaly's when they are clearly visible. I don't know if the anomaly vs NPC was a intended thing but it cant get a bit annoying when you have to follow or escort a NPC and they decide to take a dive into one and die. Resulting in the mission failing.

Graphics: The Graphics in Stalker are not top stranded by 2011 ( the time of writing this). However they are not an issue, if anything the dull slightly grainy graphics add to the atmosphere of the dark and decaying world of Chernobyl.

Verdict: Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl is a well done and nifty game, there are only a few bugs and glitches here and there that cause it to fall behind. But even now it is still a brilliant game with a challenge and a great story.
