Comrades, it is time to test our amazing powers of observation.

Granted, the game is not good, but is not a disaster your reviews and Gamespot's review make it out to be. It is a fun game with strange taste in humour. I understand that the westerners didn't get it, or wanted to get it.
I mean there was no Tom Cruise doing the VO in it, and it wasn't a game made as a tie in between two blockbuster movies with a 100mil media campaign. No, SVM is a simple, fun, crazy game.
It can be won (well not to win here you'd have to sorta be pretty dumb) in one sitting, and a strange experience that sitting will be.
So, you have your little men, and little tanks and some somewhat confusing special powers, a manual of 3 pages that's 17mb heavy, and crazy looking martians and a Mechanical Hitler as the final boss!
The intro of the game is the Russian Hymn, and i sat there dumbfound, waiting, watching, expecting something to, you know, happen.
But it doesn't, it just plays... and plays, and i think it lasts for 5 minutes or so.
So, the intro is the entire Russian Hymn, and i.. i was struck numb with the gull they had, and after 5 mins of shock i laughed.
Then you have these mission briefings by Stalin, crazily written, must chuckle when you get to read them, and then you have the 'intermissions' like a video for a song dedicated to Gorbachev, with an axe-wielding bodybuilder playing Gorbachev. Hah.
And before the final stage you get to see a work-out video of some girls doing aerobics. I mean.. Whoa. Where did that come from?
So i Laughed and watched, at one point i got up and stretched a bit.
This game is a game, not some proper RTS title we are used to these days or some overly serious project with millions invested, it's just a fun, strange little game. There aren't any classes or races or complicated skill trees, no vespane gas or cow levels. Hm, i think there aren't. It's just a .swf game that got drunk one night and did a lot of crazy things with itself.
Also, i loved some of the music, Gamespot reviewed this game pretty badly. It's like they keep all the puss for the little guys, and always cater to big companies and games.
Just play it, i mean, how can you allow yourself to miss out on a game with such an Absurd title? And have some fun. And laugh.
