If you're looking for an awesome snowboarding platformer that isn't out-of-date, you've come to the right game!
Without a doubt, the gameplay is out of this world. You are given a large selection of unique characters, each with their own personality, style, friends, enemies, and one-liners. You can also unlock some sweet outfits with gold medals that you win. You advance through the SSX Circuit by completing races and trick competitions against other characters in the game, pulling off amazing Uber tricks that are unique for each person. Spinning and flipping is a little difficult to do, but overall that's probably a good thing because it makes the game more realistic. The tracks are huge and long with plenty of variation, creativity, and some awesome visual and sound effects. The graphics aren't perfect, but they're pretty outstanding for this old of a game. The monologue and dialogue between the characters before, during, and after the race events are funny, creative, and add to the life in the sound department of this game. The background music is quick-paced and catchy as well.
SSX Tricky is a real hit and will be enjoyed by everyone, even if you aren't interested in snowboarding. You'll find yourself coming back to play this game again and again because of how fun it is. I highly recommend adding SSX Tricky to your collection.
