SSX On Tour: Beautiful music, mind-blowing tracks and even better tricks.
Although the game isnt without problems, for example there is an annoying little 'Pocket Trax' feauture which pops up everytime a new song starts telling you the song title, which gets in the way of your gameplay. Also, although this is only a very minor thing, the camera can be a tiny bit off at times. But only at a few points in the game.
Once again SSX On Tour plays host to some pretty massive songs, you'll find they fit into perfectly with the pace of the game and match the loud and energetic style of the game. Although in places this does seem like a total advert for the songs as you can only deselect a song from you playlist when you have heard it all the way through. I still cant work out wether this is good or bad.
The aim of the game is to climb the ranks of SSXers and it gives you a real sense of goal as you ride one to one against other in game characters in shred events, Or strive to get those 50 gold medals for that new tournament.
As for any of you who have ever been riding or skiing before, you may find some of the movements slightly unrealistic. I do both and at times I found that the skiiers werent smooth enough. And of course the tricks were never going to be realistic, but that adds to the fun, who wants to play a game where the characters were stuck to doing flips. Its the best feeling ever when your skiier has just taken his ski off twirled it over his head for a few seconds then put it back on and landed in the nick of time.
