Most people who give this game a bad rating or a bad review are probably people who have most likely never played this game before. Because if they DID play this game, they would know that it is an excellent game with great gameplay, great graphics, great musical sounds, interesting challenges, well-designed enemies and bosses, and plenty of interesting things to collect. This game was one of the first good examples of just what kind of graphical miracles were capable on the Game Boy Advance. "Golden Sun" along with the "Spyro" video game series took Game Boy Advance from just being a portable Playstation to being a Playstation 1.5! And unlike a Sony system, the Game Boy Advance was a superior piece of technology in every way! The frame-rate was faster, there were no slow-ups, plus there was no loading time while saving a game. And the games on the Game Boy Advance had graphics that easily outshone any of the best graphics available on the original Playstation! This was the purple dragon's first good video game, and not just because it appeared on a Nintendo system! It was genuinely fun, challenging, and an all-around treat to enjoy. I certainly enjoyed it, and that's why I reviewed this game! :idea: Enough said! ;)
