This is the most boring Spyro game I've ever played.

I thought I'd review the PS2 version of this since it was the only next gen console(during the days of the regular xbox,gamecube,and ps2 instead of the ps3,wii,and 360.) I really wanted to play the newest installment with controls I understood(even though I really learn quickly while trying to figure out how to work electronic devices.)

Anyways I wondered who the newest villain to be,but I didn't expect it to be Ripto who I thought had perished in Spyro 2. I found this out by looking into Spyro's right eye and seeing Ripto inside of it. Anyways I found out from my friend on youtube's Spyro timeline how Ripto survived. He drowned in the lava when it was above the blue platform floor and probably escaped when the lava sinked into the ground. So he probably wasne't that badly burnt.

Anyways right after the events of Spyro 3 Spyro,Hunter,Bianca,and Sparx are all celebrating the day that all of the baby dragons are paired up with baby dragonflies. Probably either a tradition or it's in honor of Spyro and Sparx. Anyways you'll see characters from the 3rd game make cameos as balloons.

The Sorceress balloon shows up at the beginning and then you see a Agent 9 balloon,a Shiela balloon,a Bentley balloon,and a Srgt. Byrd balloon. Anyways suddenly Ripto and his henchmen Crush and Gulp show up to ruin the celebration and suddenly Ripto waves his magic wand and scatters all of the baby dragonflies to different worlds.

Spyro then go's off to find all of the baby dragonflies. You'll be able to use new breath abilities in this game as well as a dragon wing blocking move. The three new breath abilities are ice,lightning,and bubble.You'll use bubble blowing to capture the baby dragonflies. There are also new henchmen that replace the Rhynocs known as Riptocs.

You'll use lightning on the tall Riptocs and use ice breath on the smaller Riptocs. The only downsides to this game are when you charge corners it looks horrible and you'll find yourself slamming into walls way more often the usual. Also the new design of Ripto looks really horrible,because he looks like a Muppet Reject and so does Gulp. Also Hunter's new design is really horrible,because he's way to yellow.

Also Bianca looks like another Muppet Reject and her skins looks like the shade of Big Bird's skin. I also think there are way to many glitches. There's even a glitch which you can do that will allow you to fight Ripto in the final battle of the game without collecting any dragonflies or anything else.

I really would like to give it a positive rating,but it has way too many flaws and a very boring storyline.

    How could a game like this even be let to hit the stores?
