A huge step backward in the Spyro series

User Rating: 3.5 | Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (UK) PS2
I remember when I got my first PS2 for Christmas of 2003. I got many games with it including this one. Boy, was I disappointed. I quit playing the game for after a half hour only to have played one of the worst Spyro games ever.

First things first: the story. As you may know, Insomniac created the first three games for Playstation which were legendary. This time a different developer stepped in. Let me tell you this: they did a bad job. This game takes place after Year of the Dragon. The baby dragons are all getting dragonflies. (like Spyro and Sparx) Everyone's celebrating ends when Ripto (Ripto's Rage) shows up and captures all of the dragonflies. Spyro must find all of the dragonflies and defeat Ripto. You're probably thinking this game might be good. Wrong!

There are many downsides to this game. First of all, when you go to a different level it takes about 10 minutes to load. It took less than 30 seconds in the first 3 games! Another thing wrong with this game are the glitches. Even if you like finding glitches, this game is not for you. This game was obviously rushed, as you can tell. The only good thing about this game is the music. Like previous games, Stewart Copeland made the soundtrack.

I have four words for you: DON'T BUY THIS GAME! You will be disappointed. I can guaranty you won't like this game.

I give this game a 3.5/10.
