A wonderful sequel to an already wonderful game. ------- 9.3/10

User Rating: 9 | Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! PS
Spyro 2 is arguably the best game in the original Playstation Spyro trilogy. Though the first one was fantastic, the second one was even better.

Graphics: The graphics are top-notch for what the Playstation can do. Everything is wonderfully detailed from just starting to collect orbs, all the way up to the final battle with Ripto! 10/10

Story: The story begins as Spyro and Sparx are having a rainy day in Dragon World. Spyro suggests that they should go to Dragon Shores, but when they enter the portal, they are teleported to another world, known as Avalar. Avalar looks like a wonderful, peaceful place, but is actually being taken over by a power-hungry midget named Ripto, with his two hilariously incompetent servants, Crush and Gulp. Spryo learns that he was teleported to Avalar, because the people of the world need help in recovering the Orbs that Spyro needs to defeat Ripto, and save Avalar. 9/10

Controls: The game is better played with an Analog Controller, because it is a 3D platformer. The D-Pad is useful for getting to exact ledge of things, but I would still reccomend Analog Control. The controls don't take very long to get used to, and they work great. 9/10

Difficulty: The game can be challenging, sometimes, but it's not so challenging that you'll just get mad and quit. The challenges get a bit harder, as the game goes on, but you'll have more skill with the game, by then. 9/10

Entertainment: The game is very fun to play, just to get a few orbs in one sit-down. You might even come across a challenge that you've already gotten an orb in, but still want to play, because it's fun. The game has a lot of replay value. You don't need every orb to beat the game, but for hardcore completists, you can pick up all of the gems, and all of the orbs, making it fun to play, even after you've defeated that power-hungry midget. 10/10

Overall, the game is a must-have for anybody who has a Playstation. The game is beautiful, long, and has this undeniable charm that will even make older gamers find that playing E-rated games doesn't make you a baby. 9.3/10 Great job!
