Split Second is a good game that lacks a few desirable features.

When I first played Split second, I was disappointed with the lack of automobile customization. However, as I played the season mode, I was satisfied with the power plays, graphics, control of the vehicles, and the variety of events in each episode. The game has a different feel than other popular racing games like Need for speed series and the Midnight club. The online play is ok. It is difficult to race others who are in an identical rank and one cannot play split screen in conjunction with other online players. In the future, I would like to see the next Split Second game provide vehicle customization, create different abilities for cars (like guns and other power ups), and a better online multiplayer forum. If You are looking for an exciting fun game without alot of depth, then Split second is a great game to purchase but if you want a game with great replay value, look elsewhere
