Not for the PG oriented casual console gamers

First off, I must say this is a bloody gory interpretation of the original splatter house. This is heavy metal music driven gore fest in the mad world of Ricky (the main character) and how it's transformed by this mysterious mask. If your a casual gamer this may not be the game for you, the combat controls take some practice before getting a handle on them. The environments are good, the action and gore are great. The bottom line is if your the hardcore kind of player who is solely interested in death, blood and gore then YOU MUST GET THIS GAME. If your looking for originality, innovative story telling with a unique intuitive combat system this is a pass. To be honest I really do not need those things to like a game, this game gives the basics and what can you expect from a remake of a classic. I would recommend anyone get this game for some fun, blood and to support the genre of more mature action games instead of teen candy action titles.
