This game was unreal back in the early '90's, and I still play it to this day

Like I said, this game was unreal for it's time. The kind of gory and psychological horror that was put in this game would've scarred some kids for life. This is the kind of game that would've caused one hell of a stir with parents if it had nearly the popularity that GTA or some other nefarious games did.

This game was kind of a simplified version of Streets of Rage crossed with some Condemned: Criminal Origins. This game was that far ahead of it's time. And shame on Namco for not making a sequel for it in over two whole generations of gaming!

You played once again as Rick, and yet again you donned the Mask to save your wife and child. The mask is not only the source of Rick brutal strength, but is also a separate being, talking to Rick and guiding him. You beat up tons of really disgusting looking monsters, and to this day current generation games still haven't topped the character design of some of these grotesque monsters. This game is the reason I never found Resident Evil scary, and if you ever play it, you'll know why.
