To say not all the qualities of games we have today were available then, the game certainly was worth every penny.

You couldn't fall to your death unless you really tried. You can let go of your buttons and allow Spider-Man to swing forever and the combat combined with the storyline is pretty fun. The Scorpion plot wasn't just plain and there was a feeling to it that, like Spider-Man 2, supported forthcoming events in the game as it linked to the work going on in OSCORP and the secret plans Norman Osborn was producing with his scientific ally.

There were many different skills to work on and keep you going through the game, plus the strategy and stealth skills you would sometimes need to follow made the game so much more exciting. Missions were varied and you'd never find yourself doing too much of the same thing.

And then the cheats were pleasing- you could play Green Goblin. When I got this cheat after completing the game I thought "Oh, ****, the story'll go caput, now." But no, they changed the whole story so it would fit to who you were playing. And because it was a cheat, it didn't matter that the future games wouldn't make sense because it would be like entering an alternate universe.

All in all I enjoyed this game and would reccomend it to anyone who hasn't played it yet and is a fan of playing Spider-Man games galore.
