I for one enjoyed this game as I only had a few games for my DS. The story is lackluster as it sets you finding a friend that you gained in the first game. The combat is somewhat innovative and very different from the first game. Rallen now does not go into battle.

First off, the bland story is supported by the boss battles that are very easy if you know what you are doing. There are a total of 4 or 5 bosses (I haven't played the game in almost a year) and if your Spectrobes are high-enough leveled, it's a walk in the park.

The combat has you send 2 of your Spectrobes into battle, able to switch between both of them and use their attacks. If both of your Spectrobes fall in battle, you are sent back to your ship (not sure but I think). Your ship has some unique things on it. It has a save point and it sort of acts like a main menu. You can buy cards and place them over your DS and then tap the dots in the card to unlock new Spectrobes to be able to use in battle.

Now, the final verdict.

I rated the game 8.0 out of 10 for sympathy, but the graphics,sound, and overall game could have been better.
