Though many people will not agree with me when I say this, this installment might be my favorite game in the franchise

In my opinion, Soul Calibur V is my favorite Soul Calibur to date. This is a bold statement to make seeing how addicting and fun the Soul Calibur games are but I will stand by my opinion. Most likely many people will say that the second game is the best in the franchise and I can see where they're coming from. But that is a different review for a different day. Now, on to Soul Calibur V. Like many people have said before me the main thing this game lacks is a great single player mode, definitely one of the biggest downgrades I've seen in the series is the lack of individual story modes when instead we get a single story mode that involves two siblings Patroklos (hope I spelled that right) and Pyrrah, while I will disagree with the public and say that i actually did enjoy the story mode I still wish each character got their own story mode. But definitely the best thing about this game is the multiplayer online mode. The fast paced fighting really comes into play here and you will have to train and get much better because there are some really good players out there. Bottom line, I feel this game is lacking in some respects but what is there is outstanding which gives it my high score.
