DC version is better.

Dreamcast Forever - IMHO, the best gaming console of it's generation. So how does this shape up?

(You may have gotten by now that this review is mainly for people who have previously owned the Dreamcast version)

Well if you've played the SoulCalibur on DC, but it broke down on you and you're thinking of picking this up to for old-times sake, you'll be disappointed. Whenever a Sony game comes to a Microsoft, Nintendo or Sony platform it never has the same magic. I can't explain what this is, but it's just something else that makes the game "better than the sum of It's parts", and this is the same. OK, they wanted to revive a classic, that's understandable, but not only do they put no improvements on it, they take away the main part of the game. Battle Mission mode would be extremely challenging, and would keep the single-player experience fresh for ages.

At such a low price, it can be worth checking it out, especially if you know others who also remember the SoulCalibur of old and if you could play a few rounds against each other - but don't expect the same game that you got all those years ago.
