The Sonic the Hedgehog series is based on "Platforming", jumping on to landing to landing, running in a straight-path and jumping on robots. Well, least to Soinc 1 to Sonic Adventure 2 is what those games were about.

This is seriously the ONLY Sonic gimmick that fits very well in the series since Sonic is a very round shape type of character. He is a Hedgehog or "Needle-mouse" is what some people called Sonic.

I can see a level where Sonic is used as the ball in a pin-ball machine.

Gameplay- It's a Sonic the Hedgehog type of pin-ball game. Robotnik's evil robots are in this game. Real easy to get into and fun. Lets you take a break from the platforming in series.

Music- alright, not the best BGM for a Sonic the Hedgehog game but still you can listen to it.

I feel, it's a predictable & acceptable gimmick for the blue needle-mouse.
