Sonic R is Sonic characters racing on foot and you race around 5 curcuits and collecting emeralds and Sonic coins. The Sonic coins allow you to race against Metal characters like Sonic or Knuckles. Collect them and finish in the top 3. collect seven Chaos Emeralds and will be able to play as Super Sonic. The game is based on the character you pick because we all know that Sonic is faster than Knuckles or Tails and it does not play like Mario Kart so you probably know what the top 3 are gonna be Sonic, Knuckles and Tails. The stronger ones will finish with Super Sonic winning everytime Metal Knuckles everytime and 2nd and Metal Sonic 3rd the order never really changes. It's not a bad game but it's not great either. Mario Kart is way better and so is Crash Team Racing as well.
