worst sonic game ive played so far
the story behind sonic labyrinth is that dr. eggman has stolen sonic speed shoes and he has replaced them with slowdown boots and now sonic is going to try and reclaim them with the power of the chaos emeralds.
The graphics for the game are good for game gear standards but that is pretty much the only positive about the game. The game departs from the usual side scrolling standards of a sonic game and the game is set in a 3d like isometric view.
The gameplay is where everything goes downhill the gameplay is similar to that of sonic 3d blast where it is a boring fetch quest however unlike sonic 3d blast where there is some speed there is no speed in this game the object of the game is to collect 3 keys in these labyrinth like zones in order to open a door and advance to the next level. The only time there is speed is when you are heading to the boss or when you do a spindash how ever the spindash is broken if held to long the spindash will not go very fast. The controls are passable but could have been better.
The sound effects for the game arent very good the music can get annoying and so are the sounds of the game.
All in all sonic labyrinth was a disater waiting to happen its not the worst game but its the worst sonic game so far to be released.
