Worst Sonic game ever. No contest

At first, it sounded really interesting, because the title is pretty good. After I bought Sonic Mega Collection Plus, I decided to try it out. It was nothing like I expected it to be! Most Sonic games I find very entertaining and even really good, but this? Actually, it wasn't only the worst Sonic game ever, but one of the worst games ever! The gameplay was very tedious and boring. Okay, so maybe the plot was original, but isn't Sonic supposed to be about speed anyway? The music was okay, nothing special, but okay. Probably the best thing about the game. The replay value is very poor. You'll put it on for about two minutes and once you heard the theme tune, you know there's a rubbish game coming your way. The levels are incredibly repetitive, and Sonic lacking in speed doesn't help either. Some handheld Sonic games are good and have great gameplay, but it's a shame that titles such as this one have to give them a bad name. Yes, even Sonic Spinball on the gamegear is better than this load of rubbish.
I would neither recommend this to hardcore Sonic fans or other types of gamers. It's a waste of time!
