Sonic Heroes is a great game with graphics, effects, and the most important part of all Sonic games, SPEED!

This game has led me to many great experiences, easily-understandable plot, speed, and fun! But at times it can really get annoying. Sonic Heroes has four selectable teams to play as; Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose, and Team Chaotix, which allows for 12 different characters to play as during the game.
Each team follows the same plot line but has some variation to the levels.

The game play has great effects and action with the basic Sonic design using springs, capsules, etc. The visual is good compared to other Gamecube games; vivid colors, detailed surroundings, etc. The special stages have great colors and background effects as well.

Like all Sonic games, speed is a factor that is plentiful in Sonic Heroes, however, this game offers different styles of play that are determined by which character, such as flight. Each character has certain abilities that are crucial to the missions. Like Tails is the only one that can hit flying enemies, Sonic's Blue Tornado move, etc.

The game has a fair difficulty level but can sometimes get challenging in certain areas like dodging a laser and then immediately having to jump off of a rail before hitting an enemy.

Sonic Heroes has multiple minor bugs in it but can be easily be avoided with a bit of movement of the character. Bugs like getting launched off of a spring and not being put directly on the rail below it.

The music in Sonic Heroes is well designed and EXTREMELY catchy. The voice acting is well...bad. It sounds very fake and not a lot of effort from the voice actors. It gets annoying when the characters say the exact same thing each and every level with the same bad expression.

Sonic Heroes is a great 3D Sonic game that just about anyone could enjoy
