Good, but not quite what I was expecting.
Story Mode:
The game starts out in many different ways depending on whichever team your playing as but each level is about the same except with the fact that they are different lengths (I'll get into more about this later). The story mode is good in my opinion but it seems like they just go to random places for an adventure all the time. It gets really boring after a while but it's pretty good overall.

Gameplay:
If you played the Sonic Adventure games it basically uses those gameplay mechanics. You home in on enemys, spin-dash, and more. Each character also has there own special abilities like speed can power a go-kart type of vehicle, power characters can do the triangle glide, and flight characters can fly the other team members of water, and many other things you will fall in and soon after die. They also added team attacks were when you press the Z button and the gauge is full you can attack your enemy's with your teams, team attack. These additions were really nice and really added to the game. But the game gets boring after a while with longer and shorter versions of each stage and each team is set to a certain difficulty. Other than that the gameplay is solid.

Multiplayer:
The multiplayer is alright. The only multiplayer modes are racing and battling. I'm not much of a fan of the multiplayer mode so I wasn't that impressed with it. But it was alright.

Sound:
It's the same sound effects from the other games, that never get old and are always nice to hear. Unfortunately this was the last game with SEGA's voice actors because after this game Deem Bristow passed away and the cast for this game replaced with the 4Kids! cast. The music in this game is great and I really enjoyed it.

Graphics:
The graphics in this game are okay. The only time they are awesome are the cinematic type of cutscenes but when it comes to the normal graphics they aren't that good. There decent overall.

Final Verdict:
The game is overall an ok game but only get it if your a hardcore Sonic fan. That's why I got this game but even I thought it wasn't that good.
