SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALS Fireteam Bravo 2 is one of the best shooters out for the PSP. The game has a lengthy singleplayer campaign, which will keep you busy for 6+ hours. One of the features of the game is that it has a crosstalk feature, which is that when you connect your PSP system to your Ps2 Via USB cable, you can sync the files with SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault. For example, in the first mission of Fireteam Bravo 2, there is a part where you must eliminate enemies around a downed helicopter. If you then sync the file with Combined Assault, Specter (the playable character in Combined Assault for the ps2), and his squad will have less enemies to deal with when they search the crashsite for intel. Since this game is connected to Combined Assault, the game takes place in the newly formed, fictional country of Adjikistan. Before you deploy into a mission, you are give an option to choose from three SEALs to work with. Unlike the Ps2 SOCOMs, instead of a four man squad, you have a two man squad. Some SOCOM vets will not like this, but it works out very well. Each SEAL specializes in either stealth, long range combat, and accuracy. You must read the description of each mission carefully in order to choose the correct SEAL to help you with your mission. In order to get more intel for future missions, you must make sure that your local influence of the Adjikistani people is high.The Higher the influence, the more intel you will receive from civilians. Since you only have access to one analog stick, you can only move (while moving) left and right. If you hit right on the D-pad while still you will enter freelook look mode, which allows you to look around to get a better understanding of your surroundings. If you hold down the R button, Sandman (the playable SEAL) will automatically lock on to the nearest enemy. Just because you have a lock on an enemy does not mean that it will guarantee you a hit, the more you shoot decreases your accuracy. The graphics in Fireteam Bravo 2 are very well detailed, and will keep you immersed in the experience. If you are a fan of the SOCOM franchise, than it is most likely that you will like this game.
