In my opinion, better than the first!

User Rating: 8.5 | SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 PSP
One of the best features a typical shooter should have in order to hook your gamer audience would be unlockables, be it extra powers or advanced weaponry. SOCOM 2 did it just nice and credible given its real-world simulation concept by introducing unlockable realistic weapons and gear upgrades via a form of point collecting system.

And, instead of just being led through the usual linear campaign, you can choose to revisit your previous mission maps after every story mission for some kind of random optional missions for fun either to hone your skills or to test out the new RPG launcher that you just unlocked but curious how it fares in a typical mission setup. Though most of the mission objectives are more or less similar, it's still fun to see how you can engage the enemies given the widely varied gear combinations and tactical setups.

If you're a shooter fan, you may find SOCOM 2 hard to put down and the only real shame of this game is that the story mission is over before you feel you're done with it.
