Since most of it's technical issues are fixed with post patches, it's a game that can be very addictive.
Gamespot's review gave this game a 6.5 because of it's technical issues... well, after all the patches, the game is playable. To better help describe how much fun and addictive this game is, just think of it like playing Counter Strike on the PC, you might stop playing for awhile, but you'll always come back for more.
Furthermore, the audio for the weapons sound extremely realistic (yes, the audio for all weapons were recorded from the real life counter-parts).
However, one of the biggest problems that I don't like about this game is the rank lobbies. You cannot create your own ranked games. All the ranked games are played through Socom servers, so if you join a ranked game, you might be kicked out due to clan members needing open spots.
Overall, great online game.
