I was surprised with this game.

As most licensed based games aren't very good, I was surprised with Snoopy vs. the Red Baron. It's a pretty good arcade shooter that anyone can enjoy. The presentation is great, it really brings the Peanuts characters to life and it really takes on the personality of the cartoon with the voice acting and music. I don't think anyone who enjoys the Peanuts cartoons or comic strips will be disappointed. The battles in the campaign mode can get intense sometimes but as expected with the license it's based on, the combat is fairly simple. Some might want something more complex but I thought it was pretty fun as it is. The campaign itself isn't very long which is what brings this title down a bit. You can also do two player split screen which might keep you occupied for a while, but only getting to play with one person at a time can get old though. Snoopy vs. the Red Baron is a fun title that doesn't have all that much to do, but what's there is fun. Although at it's price I think you'll be happy with what you get if you like the Peanuts characters. If not, you may not be as forgiving.
