You had better get comfortable before playing this game...

Every once in a while, a game will come along and I'll think "Boy I dunno… this game looks like it could be okay, but it could also be pretty lame. That's what I thought when I first saw this game. Sniper Elite really surprised me though, with a fairly decent storyline, some pretty tense action, and good LONG missions. The missions are probably my favorite part of the game. They're not those 10-15 minute go from point A to point B missions, but missions that drag out and out and out. The lengthy missions are porbably what turns a lot of people off of the game, but for me it just made it better.

The game has good sound, and visuals are ok. A nice little feature in the game is when you fire a head shot, time slows down to an almost matrix like scene. Offers some good visuals. Offers a good story, even if it is based during World War II. I personally keep waiting for a game like this to come out that takes place during the Vietnam War or something…

This game is very fun playing with two players, which is how I have played it probably 90 percent of the time, and even with two players it takes quite a while. Difficulty settings appear to be right there. The game has its easy points, and also had plenty of tough points. So that's about it.

Definitely a game that I would recommend to anyone whose into the sneaking and shooting types of games, as long as you have patience. Make yourself comfortable.
