"He's one devious, Thievius Raccoonus" And he has one heck of a game to boot!

Of the three games in the "Sony platforming Trio", (Sly, Ratchet, and Jak) this is without question my favorite and the best of any of them. You play as Sly Cooper, next in the line of master thieves known as " The Cooper Clan". All members recorded their own adventures and thieving heists into the book: The Thievius Racconus", and your about to inherit it. On that night however a gang called the Fiendish Five breaks in, kills your father, and steals the Thievius Racconus. Now at age 22, you and your friends from the orphanage you were dumped in, vow to get back the ancient book. Could the story be any more original? The gameplay in Sly Cooper is one of it's prime assets. The majority of the time, your leaping over obstacles, or from platform to platform, climbing ropes and ladders, or walking and sliding on ropes and vines. These elements form together in perfect harmony to create a truly beautiful style of gameplay. The point A to point B level styles, along with some other ways to play like racing and shooting, offer a way to make levels like you've never seen before. Great cell-shaded graphics depict the levels in great detail, and a user friendly control scheme make this game easy for anyone to pick up and play! A thief who steals from thieves, it's genius! Pick up this intuitive platformer and see why it's my favorite video game EVER!
