Sly 2: Band of Thieves may be something special. Mostly because the game is so perfect, than many other platform games. The game begins in a museum in Cairo, where Sly Cooper (the main character, a sneaky raccoon thief) is going to steal the remaining parts of his old enemy Clockwerk (from Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus) but he finds out that the parts, already have been stolen by a villain gang, known as The Klaww Gang.
Sly now need to bring back the Clockwerk-parts from The Klaww Gang, who want to use them to they own evil plans. This time Sly need help from his friends: Bentley, a turtle, who are the demolition expert of The Cooper Gang and Murray, a hippo, who are the muscles. Every (5) member of The Klaww Gang, is placed on 5 locations around the world, Paris, India, Prague, Canada and a big aircraft between Canada and Paris, where the leader of The Klaww Gang has his hideout. The gameplay is very varied and sometimes very funny. The graphics are beautiful and it is easy to see where you are in the world.
The sound and the voices are also great and gives you a good feeling of the places and a feeling for Sly and his friends' universe. All these things work so perfect together and thats why I think Sly 2: Band of Thieves is the best game in the Sly Cooper series.
