Not content to simply make a good sequel to the already great "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus," Sucker Punch evolved the series in a big way with "Sly 2: Band of Thieves," adding new playable characters with completely different playstyles, large open worlds to explore, and more control options (there's a run button now!). The result? A sequel that not only lives up to its predecessor but even surpasses it!
"Sly 2: Band of Thieves" has plenty of gameplay polish, great visuals, an interesting story, charming characters and, most importantly, it's just a lot of fun to play! You couldn't really ask for much more out of a 3D platformer.
The only (very minor) downside is that, despite having a nice balance in length (it's not too "long" and not too "short"), it's not a very difficult adventure.
Even so, "Sly 2: Band of Thieves" has it all, and it's certainly one of the PlayStation 2's best games!
