GameSpot chats up the developers of True Crime: Hong Kong at E3 2010.
WAIT WAIT i know why they canceled it now it looks just like stranglehold but with bigger freedom or rather non-linear gameplay and that maybe the reason they thought this would be a do-over of somekind but still i wanted it beautiful
I hope the do a good job on this one cause I liked the first true crime and I want to see some better nex gen stuff in this
man is this game goin to release . its a realy long time & no release date has been given by activision...
I've always been dreaming of going to HK. Now it's coming true, although it's just a game, I'll go to HK
This game has quite a lot of info released for a game coming out 'in the future' Please give us a release date. :)
P.S I do have to admit though that TC NY did have bug problems, but it was still playable, and still fun
I think the only reason why the first 2 got such AWFUL scores, is that they compared it so much with GTA, all claiming that its "ripping it off" or "copying" it, so let me get this straight. For example, it has free roaming, so does TC, it has guns, so does TC, it has drivable cars, so does TC, and then from there on out, it starts to wander away from GTA, and it becomes it own thing, with insane gun fight moves that look like they were taken right out of a John Woo film, amazingly fun combat, and also it adds in features that go very in depth into your character which is a cop, by adding things, that cops actually do, now although it does fall in the same genre as GTA, and has some of the same things that GTA does have, its not a rip off, do we accuse Fed Ex for delivering packages like UPS? Or do we accuse nike for making the same types of shoes like Adidas does? Do we accuse almost every artist that makes music, and say that they rip off the Beatles, or Buddy Holly? And its also the same case with just about any game that falls into the same genre, they get compared too much with GTA, and it no longer becomes a decent review, instead it becomes into a speech about how GTA is the best game in the genre, I'm pretty sure that if they didn't compare so many games to GTA, they would have better scores, and be much, much more popular hint hint driver, and TC.
i Remember playing this game Well the first version, I was enjoying til i had to shoot dragons, i got scared and turned it off. ;) But im hoping you can arrest people like the previous games
Cant wait for this,it looks ace.Nice to be a copper instead of the bad guy for a change.looks damn promising
im excited but not a buy because i know that its going to be short. ill probably end up borrowing it from someone :P
I really like the setting, but every True Crime game I've ever played has been glitchy as hell. I'll have to see some reviews before I decide to spend $60 on it.
