This is probably my favorite game ever.
Gameplay: Its a turn based RPG not in the way you wait for your character to wait until they're ready to attack, but when everything in the battlefield has taken its turn you get your chance to make your move and watch what happens. There's pretty much two ways to get into battles in an RPG like this, random, or seeing the enemy and getting attacked by them, in this game its just random. The ship battles played out kind of like normal battles but you don't just use "attack" you have certain cannons that have different attributes, as well as shoot magic from your cannons. Theres also special moves your ship gets that really add some strategy in hard battles. The way the magic works in this game is you have a weapon and you can change the color of it, depending on its color depends on what type of magic it is, such as red=fire, or yellow=lightning. I kind of actually enjoyed grinding until i had a certain magic level that i wanted. The spells you encounter in this game are of a certain element and that element is good against certain types of enemies. Graphics: I loved the graphics in this game, although they might not be the best i enjoyed looking at the environment and the vast world you could explore in your flying ship.
Sound: The sound in this game was amazing i still love hearing the music or the sudden burst of laughter from your party, i love it.
Value: Well i spent $40 on it i believe 7 years ago and i believe the Game Cube version is only $20 and it has some added content, but is about the same game.
This game is amazing, i seriously wish that Overworks would make some more games but i don't see that happening...ever, but this game that they made is beautiful.
