Some flaws. But their really not technical, more so angles and stuff. Outside of that it is. Scary, and vary cool.

Yea I dont write great reviews. But since this is a downloaded game. And I have a feeling that "like many great PS3 games" this first few years. Many will know more about it from bad Youtube vids, then actually playing.

And Yes, I have the full game. Let me first say the structure of this game is odd. And it will make you wounder about what you bought, when you see these separated episodes. That dont seem to long, and have you a tad confused at first. But once you get passed that, and get into the game a little. Its kinda cool how it works. Like a 12 episode mini series. In fact, before and after each episode. It will show you highlights of whats happened, and whats to come. Like you wold at the end of TV show.

"Ill try and make this simple and short" The game is pretty freaky. More so on the mental side "ala Silent Hill" then the blood side. But theirs plenty of blood also. Some of the Mature stuff in the game, deals with things that push the M rating even.

The controls are decent. Nothing great. But they fit the game. And they work fine once you get used to them. Really their no different then a Silent hill. It only gets hard to run and stuff. When it goes into split screen mode. Which is cool. But can make things a tad hard. And this split screen mode, is also a much needed power some of your characters have. Sometimes it works great. Sometimes it hinders the game some.

The graphics and look are pretty cool. At times they will use the grain filter. And at other times they will shut it off. Sometimes they will use fog, sometimes it dark as heck! And yea! You do play threw a few "day light" days in this game. So their are day areas. The detail and stuff is hard to see sometimes. But its as good as it has to be. As the overall look, is flat out freaky! Sometimes you feel a tad bit of claustrophobia in the dark, and with the camera angles. And at others it will feel much more wide open. Its a nice balance that changes the look and feel up "just enough!" from episode to episode, and chapter top chapter.

The story will have you lost for a tad bit. But a Episodes in, everything starts to come together. And it is a pretty good horror story. And its plenty enough to drive the game forward.

Like I said before. The only bad has nothing to do with programing bugs. But more so just not liking the camera angles at certain points. Like in the demo. That camera angle can be a little tight and detracting at first. But your senses will come more around to it, once you get it down. And latter chapters seem to fit that angle better?

Its a good game. But it will suffer from not being on a BR disc. But I can see why they did not want to risk it. To put it in terms with a game that more will know. I feel it was better than SH 4. And on par with most of the others from that series. But its not the same game. And they do not play the same way. In fact its kinda a hard game to describe. Fact is, its a vary solid game. And something for the "once great area of gaming" of survival horror.
