A tension filled game with plenty of scares for the PSP.
The story is confusing to start off. Why does Travis, the main character, need to be in Silent Hill? There is no clear purpose to this but there will be as the game comes to a conclusion.
As we all know Silent Hill is a creepy place and you definitely feel that while playing the game. The enemies are disturbing and combat isn't responsive at times. Combat is clunky and performing finishing moves were quite a task sometimes. But it was still fun to slam a portable TV over the head of a...i dont exactly know what the monsters were.
The puzzles in the game are tough and it requires some patience and trial-and-error in order to find the correct way. Voice acting was pretty good and sounded realistic and the graphics look really good.
This is a prequel to the very first silent hill game and I'm looking forward to playing the recently released Shattered Memories on the Wii. This game got me curious to playing more silent hill. Overall this is a fun game for horror fans on the go.
