The newest edition to the silent hill frasicaties is finally here,you play as alex shepard returning to his hometown in shepards glen he notices that everything isnt as it seems people are acting strange,houses are boarded up and also his little brother joshua is missing now you must journey throught slient hill to find your brother and also the mystery to silent hill,the game is controlled in two towns ones in silent hill and the other is in shepards glen know this can be a problem mainly because the two envirorments are almost alike,the game has great sound effects and voice acting and they sound like who they need to sound like and the sounds effects are great it gives you a since of terror when you start to hear fuzzy noises on your walkie talkie,but the major dissappoinment in the game is that it doesnt have any trophies for a game that came out in october they shouldev had trophies for it but there is hope the game has enough extras and or unlockables throught out the game like new outfits,weapons,joshuas drawings,and also endings,sadly you well only see these after you beat the game the newest edition to the game is the speech concept(meaning when you press a button to enter the speech you want him to say) anyway the games still runs on savepoints so if you die your gonna have to start all the way from where your save point was and that was a real shame especially in the hotel where your following your little brother thankfully they give you enough health packs to last throughtout the game,the bosses and enemies are reptitve this time around so if you get hit once by smoke slash or mainly even a fairly knockdown that well drain your life faster thankfully they have a combat system to cover the game and its not origions either where everytime you used a weapon it breaks,none the less silent hill homecoming is great and if you havent played then i would recommened renting before buying.
