The RPG that got a diehard Action-FPS fan addicted to the turn based battle system which never quite lets you down .
An innovative storyline, slick artwork and fantastic music aside Digital Devil 2 manages to keep you hooked to the frustratingly briliant battle system for the entire duration of the game. For those who havent experienced the first DDS game (Example - Me) might find the initial stages a littlte slack and confusing. But once you get used to the mantra system you are tempted to run around in the same areas generating funds and learning mantras before facing the big guys.
For the first few levels you will most probably think before stepping in any direction - afraid that an extra step might bring up the oh-so-frequent battle scene. But that will quickly disappear when you see three menacing demons going up in flames with a single Maragi spell.
All in all an engaging RPG thats well worth anybody's time.
