Fun game....

I really enjoyed this game. I finished it in under 20 hours. The version I played was the "Remastered" one; although, I'm not quite certain how different that one is from the original. I liked that fact that it had it's own built in tips/strategy guide, so that a walkthrough would not be needed, should you want one. Honestly, I used that guide quite a bit, because truthfully...some of the puzzles in this game are a bit hard. Mainly the mathematical ones. They sorta take leaps of logic. Unless you're somewhat of an expert code cracker or have lot's of experience in cracking codes, they can come across as a bit far fetched. But like I said, the built in tips/strategy guide really helped me out.
As far as the the atmosphere and gameplay. I thought it was quite enjoyable. Apart from the empty streets, the environments felt quite nice all around. I really enjoyed how intuitive the crime scene investigation was, along with the tools provided to investigate some of the forensic evidence.
The only other drawback to this game was the drawn out ending. The game was a pretty decent length that didn't feel overdone, but the ending seemed somewhat drawn out and sorta deflated itself , to me. I got to the point where I was saying "oh come on...more?" But honestly, I really enjoyed the game overall. If I didn't, I wouldn't have stayed up a whole night playing it! Now, on to "Nemesis"!
