The game that you always wanted but never knew about.
As Agrippa the all mighty Roman Warrior turned Gladiator , you kill and massacre to save your father from execution . The game pits Agrippa against Gladiatorial battle , Chariot races, and story based missions. As the all mighty warrior , you have an assortment of weapons ranging from bows and arrows to the arm of your opponent . The fighting and pace of the battles make every fight against an enemy both exhilarating and action packed . Parry s , snatching weapons , cutting people in half , stabbing them from behind when they're weak are just some of the 100's of ways you can mutilate your opponent to win a fight and to get SALVO moves to get more points which in turn get you cups.These Cups unlock special unlockables such as mini games and cheats so try to unlock them all . As mentioned before these fights introduce something at you and they are always different from killing a boss, destroying statues , free for all brawls , protecting civilians , competing for the most skills are just some of the different arena activities you can do . The only "lacking" mechanic in the fighting is the ally AI in some arena battles.
As Octavius you play an easy version of MGS . Your only weapons that you can knock out guards with are pots, ropes , or anything else you can scour to get to your objectives , which sometimes is to follow a person , acquire important information or talk to someone . During your adventure you acquire coins which can be used to buy extras in your house , which range from a wooden chair to a tiger , so collecting them is enticing and rewarding as you get a "special" costume that helps you out immensely.
The final part of the game is the story which inter whines with both Agrippa and Octavius ,I won't spoil much but its pretty good .
