Not bad as RPGs go. Still not as good as Covenant.

The fighting system is the same, the weapons are similar, and the characters are just as crazy. Still, the storyline is fun and detailed, the characters actually grow for the most part, and there are bosses that are challenging. This game is a lot shorter than its predecessor, but there are still a good amount of sidequests to go after. Further, the last boss is near-impossible if you don't go on those sidequests. I'd say this one is worth playing if you love RPGs. Just try to get past the horrible, horrible stereotypes of the story (like Native Americans actually wearing loincloths and living in teepees, and Lenny the dark-skinned butler calling a little white kid "Master"). It really is almost painful, however, if you can get past that, the game is quite enjoyable. The sad note is that, as compared to Covenant, Perfect rings are much, much, much harder to get. I gave up trying.
