One of the best RPG titles out there!
Set during worl war 1, Yuri is in demon form and is guarding the town of Domramy from invasion, taking up home in the church! The germans send Karin, a female soldier in to find out what the disturbance is about, the troops are defeated and they retreat, but the germans are not hapy and send Karin back to solve the problem, she takes with her a cardinal names Nicholai.
Nicholai brings with him a mysterious holy artifact that strips Yuri of all of his fusion abilities and storing the power, we find out they were sent there by a society called 'Sapientes Gladio'. Yuri must seek revenge and find out wh this Sapientes Gladio are and get his powers back, before they get used for the wrong reasons!
Covenant, has a great storyline and still utilizes the use of the Judgement Ring in combat, which is in m opinion of the best and unique combat systems in any RPG!
It is just a shame that Yuri's story has ended now, the new main character in Shadow Hearts: From The New World is a 16 year old boy called Johnny Garland, and i am currently playing it and definatly no mentiuon of Yuri as of yet, other characters are seen and mentioned, but not Yuri! shame, Yuri was an awesome main character!
