This game is an absolute masterpiece that stands as a work of pure genius. The combat system and storyline are innovative among a genre of RPG games that rehash the battle system. The storyline remains a different tale that spins a brilliant thread around the player. The characters themselves are very original and the various humor used in the game will grow on you. The graphics are solid with the exception of a lack of CG scenes. The music is very diverse and expansive with a great score to back up the great story that unfolds in this game. The battle system makes the game both fun and somewhat challenging at times as enemies can combo you as well as you yourself can initiate combos. The whole game is a refreshingly original twist to the RPG genre and is worth purchasing. On a side note, I got this game for $20 new so it's definitely worth purchasing instead of renting considering the difference in cost.
