Gamespot was right

When I first became a PC Gamer in 2001, this was one of the first games I had gotten, and had quite fun with this. I had a good chuckle out of some of the lines Sam had said in certain parts of the game, i.e. "funny, I don't remember seeing this in the travel brochure", etc. I started from the normal difficulty level, and found that to be moderately easy. I had beaten the game in no less than a few days, and had anxiously awaited for the sequel. When I found out this was being re-released, I had looked foreward to haveing some fun again, blasting kleer skeltons, and every other creature in the game, a second go around. However, after playing the reissue, and noticing all the bugs and glitches, to me, it just isn't worth playing,(and obviously not spending 15.00 for). Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad game, this is a very fun game, but to the developers I say if you're going to do a remake of a popular game such as this, work out the bugs first(at some points, I could literally run through walls). Overall, This could have been a nicely done reissue from croteam, but what we got was a revamped game with flaws. I'll continue to play this, but I'll be playing the game off my cd rom I got when this originally was released. True, I'll be missing all the glitz and glamour, but who cares?
