I can't disagree enough with the Gamespot review. But go figure. The game is a remake so there is nothing new intended other than improved graphics. The company is working on SS:SE and then will release Serious Sam 3. The only reason they made the game was to rekindle the fire with old school Serious Sam fans and to put the game out there for new guys who have never seen it hoping it will boost SS:3 sales. This is a good thing! The game has great coop, plenty of tweaks for online coop play and just an overall lasting apeal. Do not base your purchasing decesion soley on the Gamespots review. We all know there are other factors that influence game reviews. I'm just saying. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Not enough enhancements over the original game is not a problem because this is a REMAKE with new graphics! that's all!
